It was a fun time seeing the team celebrate with the trophy and the cutting of the nets. The players and the staff have really worked so hard to turn the program around.

If you would have told me that we'd shoot under 30% from 3 and that Custer would finish the game with 3 points, I'd tell you that we'd lose the game by about 10 points.

But as we've seen...good teams find a way to win. Keep it going Ramblers!

Hopefully the team as a nice time celebrating, but stays focused. We are the best team in the conference and we need to show that next weekend.

Lot of confidence over on the ISUr board after today's game ("if we cut down on our turnovers, we win Arch Madness"; "fewer turnovers and we are the best team in the Valley"). They fail to recognize that we had one of our worst shooting games of the season and the MVC POY was held to 3 points...and we still won by 7. We shoot even average from 3 today and we win by 20.

6 days for the legs to recover and let's come out and sweep our way to the Dance.

Also a lot of talk about how the refs were screwing them.

Was a really nice event before the game for season ticket holders too. Watson and Coach Gordon gave nice speeches.. answered a few simple questions... food, soda and dessert included. Another nice benefit of getting those season tickets.

Topical and great post Aces !!! You might wish to add one more stat--We won the title by FOUR GAMES --That is a ;lot in any man's league !!

We truly have proved a lot this year!! WOW !! 26-5

Three more to go --Rest up for a day or two then get down to business--
Strange how Mo ST did not live up to expectations I also thought VALPO would do better.
Arch !! We WILL come out a winner I am sure we will tire the other teams as usual. ( Did you see how we got the boards late--Sure sign) !!

GOOD LUCK RAMBLERS !!

Big frank was in for the game as was Rambler recruit Lamar Norman. Not a bad day to have a top target in.

I really expected the abnormal ....The atmosphere was so great....coming off a big win,,,clinching the conference......senior night.....ESPN2 they were amped and they were over adrenalined..Just going Soooo fast...but this team has been unflappable all year...you did not once see anyone hang their head, complain or lose their composure.......they just amped up the defense....This is what championship teams do.......WIN on good nights and not so good nights.
Saw Teddy Greinstien and family at the game.....ISU was really physical inside.....pushing our guys out of the way....then we got some calls at the start of the 2nd half........#3 from ISU is an assasin......
This was a great experience tonight...Half Hour after the game court still packed....got to talk to Larue Martin....Cameron Krutwig....Lucas Williamsons mom....Jerry Harkness was there,,,Rick Rochelle....absolutely unbelievable and Cool.......
A lot of work by a lot of guys......They have taken some heat in the past.....but this year they got it done...I for one am appreciative .
RAMBLERSSSSSSSSSSSS

It was absolutely the best atmosphere I’ve ever known at a Loyola game in 20 years. And the best sports experience, no matter what the team, I’ve experienced in the city of Chicago since the Bears and Bulls of about 10 years ago (I wasn’t lucky enough to have Blackhawks tickets during their run).
