The guy I have been most impressed with over this stretch other than Krutwig? UGUAK. Something clicked for him when we started conference play and he’s been huge He’s getting rebounds, playing tough defense, and he’s managing to score when needed. He’s also hitting free throws!

I don't want to toot our horn TOO much, but ever since that thread where the board discussed minimizing Uguak's role to a pure defensive specialist, he has really taken off. And then we shifted focus to Hall who has taken off his his bench role.

We are the true reason for their success, I am sure! Who should we target next?

I'm struggling to find a weakness right now, my only worry is against larger opponents that we may face in the tournament (Wisconsin etc.). I think if we played Wisconsin again right now the game would be much closer but our offense struggled against their size and length. It's funny how everyone that we bashed turned around and performed much better. Ever since Tate started coming off the bench we've been a different team. Porter is really doing a great job with managing player minutes and the lineup.

Note: I hope Quise is alright, he's been an amazing spark off the bench and is a huge part of the team.

Porter was asked on the coach’s call this morning. He said it’s still unknown, tweaked hamstring but the trainers aren’t exactly sure and that Kennedy was going to see the doctor this morning. So TBD, but doesn’t sound great

On a side note, he also said they had plane issues last night and didn’t get in until 1AM

To state the obvious, let’s hope for the best. He is a huge part of our success this year.

I remember him pulling up with a hammy in another game and thought "oh boy" but he came back....a hamstring injury can really be problematic.Fingers crossed.....I fully expect them to change the offense next year to something where the ball is in MKs hands.....

He does seem to have an uncanny ability to regenerate.

Those types of injuries seem to be ones that can just linger, come back on occasion, but not be serious enough to miss time. Hopefully that’s the case here. Hopefully.
