That said, we have to start thinking about using Norris differently. He obviously can get shoot from 3, and the only way he'll work out this little slump is to keep shooting. I do think we may be giving him too many minutes. He doesn't have the complete Custer burnout, but his legs look a little tired. KC and Kennedy (get well soon Marquise!) can more than competently run the offense without Norris on the floor. If we can reduce Norris to under 30 minutes a game, he'll hopefully be fresher and more likely to go off from deep. It'll probably even help get a few other guys like Kaifes some PT to get into better shooting rhythms too
I agree, I think Norris gets too many minutes given how many competant guards we have. Clearly, he is a good defensive player and Porter really likes him. He's averaging more minutes per game than anyone else on the team, yet he's the eighth highest scorer on the team. I like that he's not a selfish player and has the highest amount of assists on the team, but his shooting is a bit too inconsistent to be playing as much as he is IMO. Clemons on the other hand has been great. I like what he contributes, and he has been hot on the 3 lately.
