I would guess MVC play starts on Dec. 30th on the road (home last season, road year before...Valley seems to rotate this). I would also guess January 30, 2016 would be home game. I recall hearing Loyola always asks to be home on the last Saturday in January because of the university open house for the incoming fall class. Word on one of the MVC team forums was that the unofficial schedule is out to the schools, the conference is finalizing TV stuff, and the conference schedule should be out next week. It was released on the first Thurs. in Sept. last year.

Also the non D1 actually makes sense this year. This will give Loyola back to back games to prepare them for Alaska. I also don't think Loyola would want to play back to back games vs a D1 team that was off the night before. You would not likely find a D1 team that played on the 13th to play you on the 14th bc they would have to travel (unless already in town playing another Chicago school). So this gives you a back to back game vs a team that played the night before (Eureka @ Rockford on 11/13) but are not D1. It really makes sense.

Also volleyball plays at 4 PM on the 14th. I could not imagine the basketball team wanting to play early in the afternoon after a night game. So it would seem that the 14th would be a night game.
