Was getting my tickets the other day and they told me Illinois State was already sold out.

I'm in 203, Row E. Two rows behind the end of the tarp. They're OK seats, but I didn't know I was going to be moving to Chicago until late September.

Next year I'm getting seats in 104 or 105. That's where all the cool people are.

Brian put Swella near me? I hope he behaves himself.

Was curious where some other games were at in terms of ticket sales. According to the seat map, there are only about two dozen tickets left for the Nevada game, and less than 300 for the SIU game in late January.

I know it’s something that should be expected after last year, but it’s still amazing to think that three games are sold out or nearly sold out before the season even officially tips off.

If it’s true that there’s no re-entry allowed anymore, though, that’s going to make for some tight quarters during halftimes.

I talked to Brian Day after the scrimmage and he confirmed that there will be no reentry. Which is a bummer because it means no Irelands at half time!

Hopefully they fix the Ticket Transfer soon, especially with ST cards.

No reentry is kind of problematic for some people given how bad cell service is inside the arena.

In other exhibition news, Illinois State isn’t exactly blowing the doors off of Lewis tonight. 46-37 ISU at half, in what’s been a pretty back and forth game according to the Twitters.

Birds end up winning 80-58. They were without Evans and Yarbrough (two all-conference caliber players). Their big men dominated with senior Phil Fayne (another all-conference caliber player) putting up 20 points and 12 rebounds and freshman big man Rey Idowu putting up 8 points and 8 boards.

The game against the Birds at Gentile is already sold out. Wish it was the final home game of the season like last year--but I am already looking forward to a rocking Gentile.
