We haven't shot this poorly since the beginning of the year when Clemons was out.

Need to figure things out and quickly. Get back at it for the stretch run.

I’m shocked they only scored 68 points.

Not as bad as the Missouri State game!

Fourth game game in 11 days (third one the road) vs fourth game in 12 days(third at home), with the away game being their short bus ride to Valpo.

Not an excuse, but thought it was worth noting

As I see it, I have two clear and distinct choices:

Option 1: Blame whichever assistant coach who did the scouting and game-planning for this game, blame Coach himself for not having the team in a proper frame of mind to win, blame Coach for not calling a strategic time out when things were getting out of hand to get the team back to playing the kind of game we're built for, and the team as a whole for not stepping up to match ISU's intensity.

Option 2: Damned CBS Sports Net curse strikes again!

I'm on the fence.

Was Tim Doyle doing the game we won on CBSSN this year? Could also blame him. He did the Missouri State game last year as well.

Edit: I just checked, and he was not on the Vanderbilt game. It’s him.

I listened to the first half (and I'm not going back to watch it), but it sounded like we got sucked into a fast tempo. That's deadly to us. We absolutely have to play our game and not let teams speed us up.

We also have to be able to guard one on one on the perimeter. Guys are breaking us down way too easily. That was my biggest concern coming into the game necause Barnes did it in the second half last game.

Sounded like Hall had a rough game defensively, at least according to the color guy on the webcast. Our defense should be getting better, not worse. But teams have found our weakness. Mullins/SIU was the first to exploit it.

This honestly doesn't bother me at all.

Agreed. It's not like Porter is ever in a hurry to pull out the starters when we have a fairly large lead. And, 4 mins is a lot of game time to consider pulling all the starters.

Did anyone happen to DVR the game? I don't have CBSSN and was wanting to see the replay.

If we are up 30 with 4 minutes left, Porter does not have 4 starters in the game still. All I’m saying. We can agree to disagree. If Porter did that, I would call him out too.
