We might have run out of gas at the end of the game. White, Doyle, Thomas and O'Leary all played 34 minutes or more, and Crisman played 31.

We need a big guy for next year.

Then where was the summer conditioning? I thought they were training with ROTC and doing beach work.

Too many excuses. This team can't shoot free throws and has no legs. Two games in and we are averaging about 62% from the line. Completely unacceptable.

Further, we are AWFUL rebounding (317th nationally) and aren't good with the assists (230th nationally). Those things completely cancel out the fact that we shoot the ball pretty damn well.

I'm not quite there yet. I wasn't happy about the hire, and I'm still really pissed off at what he did his first year. But the problem right now is we don't have Osborne, and Cody Johnson has played like a project. I think Loyola DID adjust at halftime, as evidenced by a 19-7 start to the second half. But you've got 6'4" Christian Thomas playing 35+ minutes against several 6'7" guys, and O'Leary not making a big leap in contributions from last year.

I'm not there yet either, but I'm listing that way. It seems like ISUred all over again. Moser can recruit and get the players here but he doesn't seem to know how to coach. Combine that with the fact that we SUCK at free throws (one of my biggest pet peeves) and you have a recipe for disaster.

I am hoping for the best for you guys. Really wanna see you guys rise up. But this is pretty much what got him fired at Illinois St. Guy was a great recruiter but not good at X's and O's or player development. Hoping he will be more successful for you all though! Tough loss. Hope you bounce back. I am excited to see Doyle play.

Sigh...this is why we really, really needed Sean O'Mara.

GEEEZ...... all the negativity based on one game.....the first road game...... with your starting center out..........and a young team..........and other guys out. I would still like to know the story behind Cully Payne leaving...while I do not think he would have started he certainly could have been a presence off the bench.
And for all you quick trigger guys lets let the season settle a little bit

The criticism isn't on the players. The criticism is on the coach. Up 12 points and he can't make the necessary adjustments to win the game.

These are criticisms that have followed Moser throughout his career. I still have hope that this team will be competitive but after last night, I'm in "show me" mode. Moser needs to prove that he deserves to be head coach.
