Well, at least we have an extra day of rest. Not sure that's gonna matter if Kennedy's not ready to play by Saturday, but I guess I'll take it.

Hopefully if Kennedy is even a little hurt they rest him Saturday because the goons from Bradley will target him for sure. 2 technicals today, and Brown pushes off every single time he drives to get that open 12 footer. Amazing how that never gets called.

A late blooming scenario that our game could impact: a Bradley loss and Indiana State win on Saturday might bump the Trees up to the 3 seed and knock Bradley down to the 4 seed.

Hacksaw over at MVCFANS has us as a 100% lock for the second seed, even if we lose to Bradley.
His prediction takes into account NET rankings, but he hedges just a bit by saying some of the NET assumptions he made are subject to change.

There was a net gain of 9 spots when Valpo blew out MO State yesterday.

As the 2 seed, we will face the winner of #10 Evansville and #7 Missouri State/Valpo/Drake. Weighted percentages for the 7 seed are: Drake at 13%, Missouri State at 45% and Valpo at 42%.

I think Valpo ends up as the 7 seed by way of Indiana State beating Valpo on Saturday (@InSt) and Missouri State beating SIU (@MoSt). Valpo not having JFL will make it very difficult to beat Indiana State in Terre Haute and SIU seems to be dropping back to earth so I see them struggling to win in Springfield.

Could be a quarterfinal rematch vs the Crusaders. They have been playing VERY well lately and will not be an easy out.

If it’s true that Freeman has mono, it’ll be interesting to see if he’s back by St Louis. And if he is, will he be full strength? Mono typically isn’t something you bounce back from in a week, is it?

As of yesterday we were 9 spots ahead of Bradley in NET rankings.
Could Bradley's NET go down after beating IL. State?

I don't know which is more reliable, Hacksaw's 10,000 computer simulations or ahunte's back-of-the-envelope noodling.
