Maybe they will start giving Loyola scores on their updates. More than a few times this year I've noticed they're "college score" updates have given the scores or schedule for every area team playing...except Loyola.

I have noticed that too. Many times they even give scores of Bradley and Chicago state and leave loyal out. It's very weird. It almost seems intentional.

Was anyone able to listen to the interview? How did it go for Porter?

I found a link to the interview at www.chicago.cbslocal.com under the "latest audio" section.

Nice little interview... Mully was quite complimentary of the campus and told people to come to the game.

bad news - "Doyle has a broken foot and will miss another game. We hope to have him back next week" - PM

PM had some really nice things to say about Peterson and Richardson.

What I thought was funny, was PM's comment about how small the team is. He mentioned that the womans team has a player that's 50lbs bigger than our biggest guy!?!?! Is that true?

Sure would be nice to have PM on the radio like this before every game!!!

Agree it was a nice little interview. Usually Coach sounds so excited. This time he was more relaxed and interesting. He always plugs the Valley as well as LU.
On the other hand again the Trib ignored us. #11 team in the nation coming to town and not a word. Everybody write these guys an email. I am sure it is Editors and not writers who decide. Give them some ammunition to make an argument for covering LU. I miss Jauss.
I would also send the AD an email on the topic.

I can't remember the last time I read a newspaper and I wouldn't pay for their online content either. There is better, more in-depth and current content on fan sites, Twitter, etc than anything the Tribune could ever do.

Listened to the Interview. Porter is a great ambassador for our team. I thought he did a good job of talking about the game. I wish he could have talked a little bit more about our guys and what we have and less bout Northern Iowa, but I suppose us playing them is the reason Porter was asked on the show.

In all likelihood, Loyola would have to put money into some radio advertising to be able to consistently promote the team, and the way radio is going, it's probably not that great of an investment. That being said, I still think it would be nice to have our games broadcast on the radio still...

What you guys MUST realize is that LUC is NOT DePewl, Notre Dame or any of the Big 14 !! We will once again have to get to the NCAA Tourney and WIN a game or two before we hear from the MEDIA--Good grief, we hear more about us in the Press covering our MVC partners. In uor Horizon days the Plain Dealer had more to say about us then did the "press" in Chgo.
I am now starting to think we are the victims of a conspiracy possibly made worse by DePewl's being so bad.
