I would love to read what others observed. Milt comes into a game, and literally everything changes. It was like shaking a snow globe or turning a light on in a dark room. The offense that seems stagnant and aimless becomes purposeful and focused. A defense that has been disconnected becomes fearsome and unified, working as one. Three times Milt ran a pick and roll set and found CT with some beautiful passes. Twice he picks and knocks the ball away defensively that leads to easy hoops. that's right EASY HOOPS. This was really a different Milton Doyle. I have watched Milt do some really good things on the floor in the past but there was a poise and confidence that was new version of himself. I think it was a rediscovering for the love of a game he hasn't been able to play these last two months. There was a perception that he was playing a different game from everyone else that I haven't seen from him before. Sometimes an injury makes a player realize time is short and its time to fulfill potential one feels is inside. I know this all reads very gushing but I haven't seen a Rambler take control of a game like that in quite awhile and it happened in six and half minutes. |

Yes, Milton's resurrection was a game-changer. Offense. Defense. Gasps.... Wonderful. |

Well said, 86. It was an amazing transformation. The passes inside to CT were awesome and so was the one to Ingram who was so startled he dropped it. The game turned on a dime. The only other so dramatic transformation I ever so was when McMahon came in with the Bears losing to the Vikings in Minnesota and threw two touchdown passes on two consecutive throws. Doyle's play just demoralized the Bears. The only other basketball player at the Chicago college level that I saw who could transform a game was Mark Aguirre of DePaul. |

I am drinking the maroon and gold koolaid. So hyped for Arch Madness. Can't wait to see Doyle play an entire game. I think we beat ISUb and maybe even give UNI a run. |

The defense has been pretty consistent and good most of the year, but the offense was missing that extra gear and spark. Doyle showed that he was and could be that spark. He clearly looked better than the last few games he had played previous, when something didn't seem right. If that combination is there, we're a different team and a tough out. I'm legit excited at merely the potential the next week could bring. We could lose the first game Friday...or...if the ball bounces right...this is the first year since 2007 we've headed into the conference tournament and, in terms of a postseason tournament, I've realistically thought: http://youtu.be/zMRrNY0pxfM |

Milton came in with 10:55 left in the game, he almost played to the end. During the time he was on the floor the Ramblers went on a 16-6 run. |
