I think with our RPI, we are a lock at getting an invite to one of these tourneys. I looked at last year's RPIs of the invited teams, and we are definitely in the upper 50 percentile. |

Add St. Francis out of the NEC to the CIT. Southern, Colonial, and Metro Atlantic conference tournament finals are tonight. Horizon, NEC, WCC, and Summit are decided tomorrow. That's seven NCAA auto bids and several potential NIT bids that will be decided in the next 30 hours, which will make the picture much clearer. In the Southern Conference championship game, top seed Wofford is playing LAST seed Furman for the NCAA bid; if Furman wins, Wofford takes an auto NIT bid and there's one more team bumped from the NCAA to the NIT. In the MAAC, top seed Iona is playing Manhattan-- an Iona win might bump an 18-14 Manhattan out of C-tournament consideration, but Rider at 21-11 with a 140 RPI is up for a C-tournament. If you're going by RPI, Loyola is currently 123, Oakland is 153, NJIT 162, Florida Gulf Coast 134, UT-Martin 181, and St. Francis 182. |

I am happy for Kenny B. He must really love coaching. Best to him and his family except if he plays us. |

Evansville is hosting a game in "a tournament" but they're not saying which one. |

That is smart on Evansville's part to announce that. They can market the game and are more likely to sell seats with advance notice. No need to wait until they know what tourney. |

Initially, I was all for playing in the CIT or CBI. Based on the selection of teams in the CIT thus far, I'm not so sure anymore. I'd love to watch another Rambler game as much as the next Ramblermaniac, but is it really worth it? |

The CBI will have power 5 conference teams; the CIT can not. |
