I just wanted to make note that our friends at WSU may get their wish. If they win in the first round, they can meet their instate "rival" Kansas. By "rival" I mean school that refuses to play them. It's their NU.

Go Shockers!

Panthers and Shockers both underseeded. But not surprising. Selection Committee loves the Power 5.

Seth Davis picked UNI for the Final Four.

I am absolutely pissed about the 7 seed. That's the committee telling us we aren't a top 25 team. That's a major slap in the face to the Shocker program. UNI should have been a 4 and we should have been a 5.

I will say that as soon as it was announced, my brother, the KU fan, called to congratulate me on the Shockers getting to the Sweet 16. He had apparently joked to our dad that if we somehow got matched up that Wichita would win.

Unlike what appears to be most WSU fans, I have never cared if we play KU or not. The seeding is a bigger deal to me than the match up with KU.

I've gotta say, I like your path. If I were you, I'd rather have the lower seed and the better path than the alternate.

Either way, Triple G will have your guys playing angry. He's completely justified in it this time.

Please, NO WHINING about NCAA tournament seeding. There are 200 plus teams (including the Ramblers) who would like any seed at all. Since when has life ever been fair? Show the powers-that-be what you got by WINNING.

It did seem the selection committee was hard on the mid-majors this year. Wichita at 7...seems like they are being punished for only beating one team in the field. I'd have guessed 4 and 6 for UNI and WSU, but do think both teams can get to the sweet 16. Maybe I just saw KU play on bad days but they didn't look that good to me, and I think L'Ville is fairly pedestrian after kicking their PG off the team. I think the committee was overly generous to the Big 12, but what do I know. Interesting that the top 8 seeds come from 7 leagues.

Another note. Harvard knocking off Yale kept another team in our company. Yale hasn't been to the Big Dance since 1962, I believe. They were 33 seconds away from breaking that streak. Instead, Harvard happened.

What's worse is Yale also missed the NIT, despite a solid RPI of 64 and wins at Kent State, UConn, and Vermont. Would have liked to see them in the CBI.

I thought Yale was a lock for the NIT...
