Go Ramblers!!!!! Boy, 91 points is scary even with a 30 sec clock. Scoring is not exactly our strength. |

ORU coach in postgame radio show said nothing is set for location of Monday's game. He said he was perplexed by Loyola tweet last night that they were going to play on the road |

Ha, so it's going to be a fight over who has to spend the money? That's.. Interesting. |

Someone also quoted the ORU coach asserting they would be coming to Chicago. Personally, I wouldn't mind that. Hopefully we can put this on GoRamblers' tab again. |

neither school wants the game. this is going to be interesting. i put the load on Kelly to use his fundraising acumen to get the cash to host. He's the boss and should help pitch in and not let Watson twist in the wind. i would like to know how many schools turned down the cbi compared to other years. i thought both the cbi and cit tried to follow the 'bowl game' model and now wonder if that can be sustainable in the long run |

86 From what I have seen on twitter some teams turn it down every year but this year has been way more widespread of people passing then in the past. I also saw people discussing that the tourney needs some changes if it is going to continue to be around. I saw a couple suggestions of some sort of revenue sharing for the tournament. This is also one of the first years in a long time that it has not had a corporate sponsor which gives you a glimpse of the falling interest in the tournament. |

Well, if 86 is correct and neither team wanted the game, then GOOD for LUC's Admin , whomever handled it, Watson Kelly FR G !! Does not matter ! It does prove we are committed-- As far as wak or strong fields this year, the now proven commitment to me at least, forces us to go all out for the marbles. What a boost for the team --to actually now see that the 'bosses" are behind them. Wow ! What a difference as opposed to say 20 years ago !!! As far as the game goes, we can win this . Sure they score, BJT can they defend ?? We can and will. GO RAMBLERS !! |
