They were just under .500 this year but I am fully on board with this matchup.

Looks like they lost 9 of their last 10 games and finished with an RPI of 175. Hopefully they are better next year. Think they finished 8th. Kinda sucks we don't get a home game out of it.

Either way, The Pit is a notoriously tough place to play. It opened in 1966, and New Mexico is 696-158 (.815) there. They were 10-5 there this year, and broke Colorado State's 14-game winning streak to start the season. It was one of the top 30 best home court records in basketball when this past season started.

Cripes ! Five losses in the PIT !! Amazing --I always thought they almost NEVER lost there . First thing I thought when I saw this thread was OH OH !!
