Alright, let the discussion begin.

Since we now know we will be playing UNM in the MVC/MW Challenge, here's what I think is on tap for next season so far:

Home:

Kent State
UIC
UTSA
Creighton* (Are they ever going to return that old Bracketbusters game?)

Road:

UNM (Nov. 18)
Rice/Houston/Houston Baptist/Texas Southern (Home Game for Devon Turk)

Any thoughts?

Kent State was a return of the BracketBusters. I do not think there is a current contract.

Where is this Houston Area game coming from??? I live in Houston now and it would be awesome to see the ramblers come down here! I'm assuming this is just speculation?

Just speculation. Turk will be a senior so the assumption is that Porter would like to get him one last "home" game. That said, there was speculation that the UTSA game from this year was that nod.

I do think LU should be in great position to pick up a couple of high quality non-con games this off season. Teams that think they can make the tournament are always looking for quality non-conference (home and road) games as a way to boost their resume. With Loyola being right around the RPI top-100 mark this year, I'd think many teams will see us as a team that will be a positive in the RPI but also a game they can win. This season we played only three teams in the RPI top 100 before conference (Mich St, Boise St, Kent St). I'd love to see that number at 7 or 8 this year.

With two long trips to NM and Alaska already set, I hope we can find some relatively short trips to make, i.e. Dayton, Butler, Belmont.

assuming the below games take place, I only see 2 more non-conference games. One you would think would be a money game (eg. get 60-80K and go to Iowa). So basically we only have one opening. Wonder if the schedule comes out earlier this summer?

Home:
UTSA
Creighton: Dec. 5 or 12
Fordham *
UIC

Road:
@ DePaul *
@ New Mexico: Nov. 18

Figured it was time to bump this since it looks like DePaul isn't happening. Do we know that UTSA was a home and home?
