I wouldn't be surprised if we made a late push for this 6'7" forward from Geneva who was voted 1st team All-State by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. I saw him play against Normal in the State 4A semifinal, and he was pretty impressive. Can step out and shoot from distance, finishes good around the basket, quick shot, good footwork, and pretty fast for 6'7" or 6'8" (which is what he's listed). He had more than half of Geneva's points, even though everyone knew he'd get the ball each possession. |

I watched some video. He looks kind of like a taller version of Jay Knuth. Can really shoot the three. With Devin Turk graduating next year, I think another three point marksman would be useful. No idea how he defends or rebounds. |
