Question for the scholars like JTC & veterans like Brot (not that they are mutually exclusive): Looking back to 1963, when the Ramblers main MVC rivals were Wichita State & Cincinnati, height & weight wise, how did the 63 champs' starting lineup compare with next season's Ramblers starting lineup? (I realize Johnny Egan & Milton Doyle are not twins.) Maurice Kirby..6-9 235...Les Hunter Montel James..6-7 220...Vic Rouse Devon Turk.....6-4 195...Ron Miller Earl Peterson...6-3 180...Jerry Harkness Milton Doyle....6-4 185...Johnny Egan |

Very similar except for Milton/ Johnny--Oh ! maybe Hunter had an inch or so over Kirby--Turk a smidge over Miller-- Overall these teams are firly balanced height and weight wise--Talent ?? We shall see, but that 63 bunch WAS the best in '63-- |

I think you will see 6-6 215 lbs Ingam starting instead of Kirby. |
