I am yearning for some bball news. It seems that almost every day NU has info and pictures. I throw this out as an example. It is about their off-season workout awards and come with lots of pics. Northwestern is playing this summer over-seas. Loyola is not. Hence why they are practicing and having more coverage. |

Just a reminder: Northwestern has never made the NCAA Tournament....we have won the NCAA Tournament.... I get that they're in a better conference, but......they've done nothing with it in terms of basketball. Why should we be jealous? |

Rambler 01 and Grad.....missing the point. We should be jealous of NU as fans because they simply provide way more info on their team than our Athletic Department does. The information is not connected to the trip to Europe. For example there was info on the off season work out winners and pieces on their appearances at local schools. info on there players as counselors at camps.interviews on how they view the upcoming season.etc. We just do not do a very good job of connecting the fans to the players and the program....could be a difference in resources and or philosophy but it certainly may add to the small size of our fan base. |
