Watson did a little reorganization after the departures of Carolyn O'Connell and Betsi Burns, creating the new positions of Deputy Athletic Director and Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations, filled respectively by Jermaine Truax and Tom Sorboro. Truax will be in charge of internal operations while Sorboro takes charge of external operations.

I'm surprised a woman (or at least a transgender) wasn't at least one of the hires.

While in those positions, he was responsible for recognizing opportunities and closing integrated corporate partnership agreements to help achieve property revenue goals in addition to providing direction and leadership for the property."
