OK, so I'm still smarting from the Alaska tourney. The season now comes down to play in the conference. We have seen these guys play at a higher level and I believe they will figure this out soon. The chemistry seems to be unclear at this point. Hard to see how Richardson gets 21 on one night and nix the next. Same with Turk. Milton is great at some points and non existent at others. These guys have to stay the course, and not get down as soon as the shot is not falling. They need to keep up the defensive efforts and the offense will show up. To stop playing D, fouling or turning it over is not what this teams made of. They are all more talented than shown so far. I hope they believe in themselves as much as I believe in them. Yes, the chemistry is unclear. We have to recognize that this is a different team than last year despite so many returning players. Both offense and defense last year were so team oriented that chemistry was what it was all about. That has to be rebuilt every year regardless of personnel turnover. We are missing Knuth and neither Kirby or Adgei. are contributing. And Daniyal Robinson was a big loss. I understand he contributed a lot in-game and a lot to the chemistry, but I don't have personal knowledge of that. There are a lot of games left and we are only one game worse off than I thought we would be at this point, although I hoped for better. We can still do a lot of damage and surprise a lot of people. It will be fun to see how it works out. Like Ramblerguy I have faith and hope. It's nice to have a week to prepare for Creighton and finals don't start until Dec 7. Go Ramblers! |

100% right, Scream. I forget, are you a Cardinals fan? La Russa used to talk about how a team has to jell every year no matter who comes back. |
