Here we go Rambler fans. The next 8 games will give direction to the Porter era. This team is capable of winning at least 6 and should win 7 if not 8. This stretch of games will tell us if Loyola is on the right path or if this has been all smoke and mirrors. I don't think it will be a cake walk and will provide some big challenges. Health has to be on our side but being prepared to play with sound game plans will be equally important over this string of games. Will we see this team come together and put in place cornerstones of team play and a winning swagger, or will we see a turnover prone, bad shot selection squad. I'm resting this responsibility squarely on Porter and his staff. He has had plenty of time to assemble the players he wants and to expose them to his concepts of play. I have been waiting for this variety of opponents both at home and on the road to see where we are at as a program since Porter's third year. These are winnable games and if we are to rise to a level of play we have not seen in many years, now is the time to grab opportunity and bend it to our will. Go Ramblers!!!!!! |

Agreed !! It IS and will be on PM But the players MUST execute HIS plan for the entire 320 minutes of the eight games. When they do execute , they win--see Creighton. Now then, the only problem I have had with PM is the frozen foot brats. He did fix what never should have happened though. Last year was great , but now he and the team must rise. Except for Creighton, they have NOT as yet I am looking smaller than86, but either view is fine with me. Win these first four and then hit the rest . GO RAMBLERS |
