What an effort. That inexcusable 5 second call when we had 2 timeouts remaining. Then the incredible hustle to get the ball back. Milton had a good look...just couldn't get it to go.

Heartbreaking. But my Lord, what an effort. That game looked like it was well on the way to a 30-point rout.

While it wasn't a win, it at least gave a glimpse of a way we can play with Evansville. Through the first 1.5 games this year, I wasn't sure if that was possible given the matchup problems inside.

Wow. At Illinois State, at home vs. Missouri State, Bradley, and Evansville.... four conference losses by a total of SIX points.

That hurts.

Heartbreaker but it is not like the season was turning on this game. A win would have put you at .500 and helped a CBI/CIT bid (assuming the school even wants that). 12-14 with 4 to go. Need to go 3-1 to finish .500. The Thursday night game may push us over or at least to .500. I say we finish 2-2 (14-16), win Thurs. and Fri and lose Sat.. (16-17) when it is all done.

A lot of close losses, where the last bounce just hasn't gone our way. Call me crazy, but I'm not giving up on a tourney run.
