Woke up this morning, pulled up my issue of today's Trib and what do I find on page ONE of the Sports Section?? A nixe article on DEPEWL !! Not only that, but inside there appeared a piece on BRADLEY of all things. Worse yet it praised how well Brave hung in against LUC ( our only mention in either obituary)
I am this close to chucking the entire deal !! Pur AD really should invite the Trib to the campus with the idea of introducing its writers to the fact that LUC is within the borders of the City of CHICAGO !!! We should advise them that we are STILL the only ILLINOIS team to have won the NCAA Tourney @!! Actually maybe THAT is what irks them.

You are right on Brot.....The sports guys do not see LU as having potential to make noise on the national scene. It needs to be someones job to convince the otherwise. They are fickle so it may not take much....one 4 star recruit..........one big win (like our victory over Creighton while Creighton defeated Depaul twice????) but we have to add all the pieces. Coach sounded disappointed in attendance....I dont blame him. He cant be responsible for coaching and getting people into the gym.

Both Mike Mulligan and Lou Cannelis were classmates of mine and LU grads. I would venture a guess that Loyola's administration doesn't even know who they are, let alone they went to Loyola.

Jabba thinks they are worse than scum since they are LU alum. An LU degree isn't worth the paper it's printed on, according to him.
