Thoughts--

Sad for Aces---Sadder for us of course
Panthers are a deserving team for NCAA
Shockers are probably in the Dance ( I would vote them in) Although their seed will dictate an early loss.
----Shoulda coulda dept---We were the better team than they were late BUT ..........
Aces should be NIT and could win it

Our team deserved a better fate--BUT They and the Coach brought it upon themselves--Something was--is-- radically wrong

We beat Creighton and Panthers (twice) What happened Meanwhile ???

--Prediction--If our returning BIGs plus the newbies improve over the Summer we may, just might, be a factor in the Valley. PM Must rely some on our BIGS !! We had everything else going for us except the proper mind set and a stubborn Coach who FINALLY got it right --For a while .

I LIKE OUR CHANCES FOR NEXT SEASON

Shockers better hope Valpo wins the HL, St. Mary's wins the West Coast, San Diego State wins the Mountain West, Akron wins the MAC, and South Dakota State wins the Summit. Those are all teams up for at larges in one-bid leagues, and most have RPIs slightly better than WSU.

I don't think WSU is near as close to the bubble as some believe. I don't think these conference tournament upsets change anything in that regard. Looking like an 8 or 9 seed, possibly 10. Either way, the 1's and 2's in this years tournament aren't ultra scary or anything and we'll have a shot at anyone. The good thing about the tournament is most teams play a style that allows us to open things up. The MVC play typically seems to get things bogged down which complicates things. We can play that style pretty successfully, but if we go cold, as we did against UNI both losses and against ISU, it gets interesting. When the game is played with more flow we typically have more success and most NCAA games seem to be played that way.
