"Welcome" doesn't do it justice. More like: "Boy am I glad to see you!" or "Thank God you're here!"

Nice addition we really needed a big man. He played more of a 3 in high school so it will be interesting to see if he is still as mobile and able to handle the ball like a 3. If so I think this could be a good get for us and really help our history of problems down low.

Am delighted. He looks very athletic on video and has impressive stats.

Welcome to Loyola, Treyvon!

Stellar to hear this! Welcome Treyvon!!

A true big man and a lefty at that to fill the void left by Montel. It's exciting to see that we may end up with three 3 star recruits if we manage to wrap up Matt Chastain as well (3 star according to Rivals; Cam Satterwhite the other).

These tiered ratings certainly aren't everything (Milton/Montel/Turk weren't starred or ranked) but being able to get higher profile recruits is exciting and hopefully will continue as the years progress. I also believe Andres is the first Bryan Mullins lead commitment; so congratulations to Bryan!

The only downside to this committment is that it makes our roster even more unbalanced in terms of classes. Next year we will have only one senior in Milt, and 7 juniors (including all 3 bigs) in Rajala, Kirby, Andres, Richardson, Ingram, Smith and Kennedy. Custer and Knuth will be nominally juniors as well, but both will have 3 years' eligibility remaining due to redshirting. But they could conceivably leave the program along with their peers in 2018 as graduate transfers.

Any more recruits this year should be either a freshman or a graduate transfer.. Or save a scholarship for next year's class.
