Heading into tonight, the 1963 Final Four was referenced in relation to the blowouts in the semifinals. Tonight, 'Nova's win was one of only a handful of championship games where the winner came back from 5 or more points down at halftime, and only the third time a championship game has been won on a buzzer beater. Loyola's win in '63, of course, is the only other team to share both of those with 'Nova tonight. |
