OK we are 1-0, Milton looks like he is ready to have an outstanding final year( I can tell all of that from a 1 minute video and a box score). Did notice however that our two Croatian players were not in the game????? First words out of Coachs' mouth were about defense,,,HE is consistent. ANyway nice little video on LU website and report on first game. Great to see some basketball.

Streak said Bruno was recovering from minor surgery. Don't know about Vlatko.

Looking at team picks Vlatko was there. Him and Bruno were dressed in Maroon jerseys so I assume it was a minor injury (Tyson was in street clothes; looks like Marques Townes is still banged up as well). Excited to see Kirby getting rebounds and Jackson scoring inside. Milt scoring so efficiently is huge as well!

I looked up a few of the opposing players and they're a collection of pros and veterans of various youth national teams. So it was decent competition. Custer's three wasn't falling in his first game back after sitting out last year (video says he was a little nervous as the game approached), but it's nice that he likes to shoot. I'd like to see Donte Ingram have a confident, assertive game or two now that he's a junior and one of the top experienced players on the team. He's going to need to be one of the leaders even if it doesn't come easy to his personality. Maybe Doyle's finally back to 100% physically? I hope by the end of the tour they're down into the 15-18 turnover range as the new players start to get the feel of the team and work a little better together in game situations.

Regardless, nice to start with a W no matter who the opposition is. And our coach didn't get thrown out of the gym!
