If Krutwig and Negron both enroll, and if Kirby graduates as some are speculating, we'd have an average star rating of 2.48, which would be second in the conference behind Wichita State.

With the usual disclaimer that I've seen a lot of really good 2-star players, you can't deny that the talent level of Porter's recruits is steadily going up.

In a couple of years realistically we could have a starting lineup of all 3 Star or better players:

Custer
Townes/Satterwhite
Chastain
Negron
Krutwig

I am gratified !! What caused this upgrade in our recruits ?? Porter is a fine recruiter and has been--BUT I believe this upswing has do with our winning tourneys two years ago--when all this seemed to have commenced ! I REALLY like us this year and next !!

in other words we have had SOME success --And NOTHING succeeds better than success. Porter has had a supposedly better "frame of mind" set of athletes--MUCH better than the frozen foot losers !!

Our men since the debacle respect themselves AND their Coaches and their SCHOOL !!

We seem to be on our way UP !!
