Obviously information is scant on a closed scrimmage. There was a 20 minute game played under regular rules, which Northwestern won by six.

Yeah, I saw on the Redbird message board a post saying that we were scheduled to have a closed scrimmage with Northwestern on the 29th, but I kinda dismissed it because it wasn't sourced and Northwestern also had an open practice for season ticket holders that day, per the Northwestern board.
I guess the ISU info is reliable. They also report that we have another closed scrimmage with Chicago State on the 5th.

The Catch and Shoot also mentioned that Richardson impressed. I don't wanna oversell it but Jackson impressing against Big Ten competition is a good sign, he's really wide but still only 6'5'', so knowing he can score against bigger opponents is a huge plus.

Chris Collins is slowly putting together a real nice team up north.

Now would be a good time to place a futures wager on Bruno to make the all Freshman team. Just saying.
