Per the Basketball Travelers website, we are very close to finalizing. Quote: Loyola Chicago is looking for one game to complete schedule. We have to play on the road on Saturday Nov. 16th. We would entertain a series or a guarantee game. Please email mgordon1@luc.edu with interest.

So, I think this implies that we got a home game for November 19. This is great for me because I have to be out of town on the 16th and I didn't want to miss a home game! |

A recent post says that St. Mary's is looking for a game on Nov. 16. Older posts show that New Mexico and Western Michigan are looking. |

Loyola is playing in the Gulf Coast Showcase. This following is a release from my undergraduate alma mater, Saint Bonaventure. Nov. 25-27, the Bonnies will travel to Naples, Florida, to take part in the 2013 Gulf Coast Showcase. The seven other teams competing in the Showcase are Louisiana Tech, Southern Illinois, UNC-Greensboro, Illinois-Chicago, San Diego, Stetson, and Loyola Chicago. The Showcase bracket will be announced at a later date. |

I found a blog with a post listed today that says Loyola is NOT YET in any MTE, and that the 8 teams in the Gulf Coast Showcase are: UIC, Louisiana Tech, St. Bonaventure, San Diego, SIU, Stetson, UNC-Greensboro, and Western Illinois. http://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2012/ ... events-MTE |

Very odd that we would be in a tournament with SIU (who we play twice already) and UIC (who is on our non-conference schedule) I like the other opponents, though. |
