I mentioned scheduling in my recent post in the game thread, and just wanted to start a thread now now. If memory serves we actually have 3 really good home games lined up for next season... I'm 90% these are all correct, but if I'm wrong let me know! Toledo- I believe the original deal with Toledo was a 2 and 2 so they should be coming back to Gentile. It'll be the fourth game between our two teams in 3 years. UIC- I'm pretty sure it's been on the board this was also a 2 and 2; the first one was at UIC correct? The Flames could be a real power in the Horizon next year with their young backcourt and Tai Odaise back from injury. NC State- I remember hearing NC State was a 3 games 2 at NC and 1 here. We'll get another shot at the Wolfpack minus an NBA Lottery pick. All 3 games are really solid competition that should be real challenges that will help us in the long run; it's a fairly comparable mid major (Toledo), a local up and comer (UIC), and a nationally renowned program (NC State). |

It's not a home game but we will play theuniversity of Missouri Kansas City so Custer and Richardson can play in their home town in front of friends and family. |

Happy that we'll play UMKC for a couple reasons, but I'm not sure that will help with upgrading the schedule. Even though their coach is starting to turn things around, they play a lot of seniors, so I wouldn't expect them to be that great even for a WAC team next year. |

UIC was a four year contract that is now over. I expect it to be renewed in some fashion. 25, why not just play @ Kansas and take home a paycheck as well? |

Also, we are playing in an eight team tourney in Savannah Georgia sometime in November, probably around Thanksgiving. Should be a lot less expensive than going to St. Thomas. Someone I know recommended flying to Charleston South Carolina for a couple of days and then driving to Savannah. |

As of now: Home v.s. N.C. State Home v.s. Illinois-Chicago Home v.s. Toledo @ Boise State @ Savannah, GA Tourney Home Game via GA Tourney? (this year teams hosted an on campus game before going to GA) Home v.s. Non D1? (at least one is almost guaranteed) @ Milwaukee ? @ UMKC |
