Big day for future Rambler point guard Isaiah Bujdoso. Sunrise Christian beat undefeated/13th ranked St. Benedicts.

He was recently rated in the top 50 point guards in the country by Rivals coming in at 48. Now a 3 star by both Rivals and Scout.

Also I found a video of a local news team covering the game. There’s a quick bit of a Bujdoso steal and dunk - http://www.localdvm.com/sports/maryland ... WHAGSports

Sunrise Christian now ranked fifth nationally, found a nice quote:

The Buffaloes were already in the Super 25 rankings because they defeated Prolific Prep-Napa Christian (Napa, Calif.) and defending Super 25 champion La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) in late November and early December. However, they also had two losses to unranked teams: losing to Victory Rock Prep (Bradenton, Fla.) and South Garland (Garland, Texas), but both of those were without point guard Isaiah Bujdoso, who is a Loyola Chicago commit.

“I think we are as good as anybody right now,” Barnwell said. “Our starting point guard (Bujdoso) was out for six weeks and without him, we struggled to score.”

Sounds familiar to me...

I've been doing a little investigating on our last scholarship for this upcoming year. First of all, Verbal Commits has a lot of information. This link: http://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/loyola-il takes you directly to the Loyola page. Some interesting information is that we have offered 4 SFs for the last scholarship: Tray Jackson (6'7" Ypsilanti, MI), Trace Ramsey(6'7" Valpo, IN), Gaven Pinkley (6'8" Hillsboro, MO), and Drew Peterson(6'8" Libertyville, IL).

Jackson: probably my favorite of the bunch, decent shooter, very athletic, projectable body that will fill out (and maybe even add an inch or two), GREAT defender, 8 offers on the table, and also followed by all 3 assistant coaches on twitter.

Ramsey: awkwardly athletic, good shooter, decent defender, looks like he has some iso game and can create his own shot, 7 offers on the table, followed by all three assistant coaches on twitter, and also has his offer from LUC "pinned" to the top of his twitter. He's the safest bet as of now to get the last scholarship

Pinkley: Athletic D1 stretch four with deep range, definitely a mismatch guy, probably the best rebounder and passer of the bunch, not a lot of video and couldn't find any defensive clips, followed by one assistant coach, also he was offered by LUC Nov 2016 so it's been awhile, 15 offers on the table

Peterson: just from his twitter it seems as if he is playing for an offer from Wisconsin, can score at all 3 levels especially off the dribble, definitely undersized as a SF and would be better suited as a tall SG, followed by one assistant coach and has 14 mid-major offers.

I think it is a two horse race between Jackson and Ramsey. Peterson will bite on the first major school offer he gets and it looks as if Pinkley may be favoring some of the offers he's gotten more recently.

That list is missing Kevin Easley out of Indiana, a VCU decommit. 6'6 wing, was offered January 15 (although I bet he ends up committing to UMass)

I'm pretty confident that we're no longer recruiting Peterson or Pinkley at this point. Not sure about Jackson, but I lean no.

In committed news future point guard Isaiah Bujdoso helped lead Sunrise Christian to a victory over the second ranked team in the country Oak Hill scoring 12 points. Sunrise is undefeated with Bujdoso and has now beaten the fifth, fourth, and second ranked teams nationally. Their two losses came to unranked teams while he was injured.

Hopefully we don't have to worry about next season for a couple more weeks, but two more names to keep an eye on.

Kawanise Wilkins and Sy Chatman.

Wow... Great looking numbers for Wilkins..... Went to Farragut. Looks like Donte Ingram's numbers on FG%, rebounds, and points.

Chatman's got offers from UNI and Bradley in the last 48 hours.

Some great content on (my favorite) potential recruit, Lamar Norman Jr. (He’s number 4 on Godwin Heights)
