Not exactly true.
It is the only with NCAA Division I status.
There are three other for-profit schools in Division II and one in Division III.

Drew Peterson of Libertyville was at today's UIC beatdown. Great game for him to attend.

Definitely a great game to have him. The whole Libertyville team was in; I’m honestly not sure if we are still recruiting him, but he’s been putting up big numbers as a senior. He visited Yale in the fall.

Did anyone make it to the game at the UIC Pavillion to see our future Ramblers after the game? I'm wondering how they looked.

Did not make it to game, but Sunrise Christian point guard Budjoso, was reported out due to injury of some kind by their Twitter. Sunrise won 56-47.

This is from a game earlier this season but you can catch some glimpses of Agunanne finishing some plays in the post in this vid (number 23).

One of our 2018 targets, guard Lamar Norman, Jr. signed with UTEP this fall.
Now with Tim Floyd out as UTEP's coach, I wonder if Norman will reopen his recruiting. I noticed that Coach Valentine recently followed Norman and his father on Twitter.

On edit: Reading the Twitter tea leaves, I think Loyola might indeed have a fighting second chance at Norman. His father retweeted a post saying UTEP should release its recruits, and praised Tom Finke for choosing a mid major instead of a P5 school.

Swella, how did you get so good at Twitter? Was it Blers's seminar?

Yes, yes it was.

I'm hoping to sign up for your seminar on message board humor so I can hone my smarty-pants skills.

Good call. Speaking of UTEP another player to keep an eye on is their freshmen point guard Evan Gilyard. Gilyard went to Simeon and from most reports we were one of his top options along with UTEP (worth noting he was featured in an article about Chicago Public League athletes leaving the city, so there may not be interest).

He's been putting up 6, 2, and 2 as a freshmen point and would have to sit a year, which would be ideal should Custer stay... to top it all off he played for the Meanstreets AAU team, where our new Director of Operations Jevon Mamon coached.
