I'm not going to get my hopes too high on Finke. I think he's going to be a spring commit, and with a good high school season will probably end up going to a high major. If he was injured schools that might've cooled off will come back.

That said, I still like that we are in contention here, and have had our name floating around as a rumored leader. I feel like 4 years ago a player like him wouldn't even look twice at us. I thought the 2017 class was great, but depending on how this plays out, 2018 could be even better.

Wisconsin had an unexpected decommitment and are now involved with Finke. I agree with Tank that he'll sign high major in spring. Not only is he healthy, but I doubt the talent level in Champagne is too high... He'll be able to get confidence back pretty easily.

Still, a lot of teams may have burned their bridges with him by ghosting him while he was hurt. Even if we don't land him it could be fun to watch if we stay involved.

I mean, it’s not the CPL, but the Big 12 conference is a pretty good basketball league.

I agree it’ll be a long shot. But who knows, doesn’t hurt to be in the running.

Good to know grad!

Keshawn Justice committed to Santa Clara, so it’ll be interesting to see where we look for the final spot!

I'm sure Porter has something " Up His Sleeve". Right, Blers?

Gonna get quiet round here regarding recruiting news; one additional name to keep an eye on that we haven't offered is Austin Richie. Teammates with Trace Ramsey at Bosco. 6-6 wing, played high school ball at Chicago Heights. He has a Seton Hall visit coming up; but looks like we're on him as well as Ramsey.

November 8 to November 15 is the early signing period. So maybe at the season opener on November 10 we might have received the NLIs..... Once the verbals sign, we've got one spot left for the Regular Signing Period beginning April 11.

Pretty interesting news from the Ivy League. Former Lake Forest forward and 3 star prospect Evan Boudreaux will be sitting out this season at Dartmouth to focus on academics to graduate. He will then be a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility. He averaged 17 points and just under ten rebounds a game for the Ivy League team and also shoots the three well. Seems like an ideal addition and Moser also recently followed him on twitter... historically he hasn't followed recruits so keep an eye out!
