I doubt Porter would be anywhere near jumping on this coaching carousel barring U of I going to him as their Plan F, but I wonder what it does to their recruits? Are we in play for some? I know SLU was going hard after Tilmon. Maybe Illinois State picks up a few if Muller decides not to jump to U of I first? |

Javon Pickett was the one player that I know we offered who ended up at U of I. DJ Williams out of Simeon was likely going to transfer regardless of Groce, but effort was an issue with him so I doubt he becomes an LU target. I also wouldn't expect Muller to go there; he'd be a hard sell for fans especially given he's still yet to make the tournament (could happen this year but I doubt it). |

It is inevitable ( and worth it just to see SubGod's reaction), so I might as well start the speculation that Gregg Marshall will leave the Shockers for the Illini. |
