LU 3*recruit 6 "9" Eboigodin to UIC. I am putting this one on the Jesuits. He went to a Jesuit High School in Detroit. They coulda kept him after school till he committed to LU correct? some kind of pressure ?

My take on this is that Porter feels he has a good shot at signing Christian Negron and backed off on Ebo.

Gotta agree with Swella here, there's been no word of us watching him for a while, and he seemed to enjoy his visit even tweeting about our teams trip to Spain over the summer. I feel like we're all in on Negron, hopefully he feels the same.

Also I hate to say it but UIC has been killing it recruiting under McClain; arguably better than any Chicago school. 5 3 star recruits in their freshmen class. Marcus Ottey is gonna be a stud for them, I think he can have a Kay Felder like career. They're gonna be a tough team for the foreseeable future. Don't know how they're pulling all that talent given their resources.

I think Greg E. has some JUGs in his near future.

In all seriousness, congrats to him and UIC. He's got a lot of potential.

OMG !! JUG !! At Campion HS in the 40s, I was well acquainted with it--Something worse there was what was commonly referred to as THE LOST WEEK-END !!

One had to sit outside the ASST Principle's office for the entire week-end doing absolutely NOTHING except study !! That bad boy was reservrd for getting caught sneaking over to St Mary's Girls' Boarding School or some such other awful thing !! Ah ! Memories !! You guys are priceless !!

Eboigodin just asked for his release from UIC. The coach who recruited him left for U of I... will be interesting to see if he gets recruited there or we take interest... Mullins still follows him on twitter.
