They are teammates on the North Class 3A/4A team. Tip off is at 6:00. www.ibcaillinois.org/all-star-game.cfm I am surprised and delighted to learn that Christian has apparently been cleared to play competitive ball so soon after his knee surgery. |

Nice catch. Anybody know when he had the surgery? I was thinking it was in August, which would make this fairly early, but not out of the question. |

Negron injured his knee in late September and had surgery around October 20th. Current medical practice is to wait a while after the injury before performing surgery to allow for swelling to go down. Also some rehab is done pre-surgery. He is a little ahead of schedule but not too much. I read 6-8 month recovery time following an ACL surgery. I just hope he gets back to his former self. Time will tell. |

Did he actually play or was he just named to the team? It'd be awesome if he played, I'd just be surprised. Cam Krutwig won MVP of the game! |
