As of Saturday, Wichita State is no longer in the MVC, and Valparaiso is.

This leaves the new MVC as:

Loyola
Illinois State
Missouri State
Valparaiso
Northern Iowa
Bradley
Southern Illinois
Indiana State
Evansville
Drake

There is no reason why Loyola can't be the leader IMMEDIATELY in this new conference-- the leader in wins/losses and the leader in vision.

Valpo and Ramblers should be the top teams this season. Besidws winning the title we and Crusaders have the responsibility to keep the Valley ahead of the rest much as WSU did in its time. I believe we are nicely positioned with the players AND coach to do this==

Amen JCT. It's time to raise the bar higher results-wise on and off the court; hopefully our leadership is up to the task.

One thing that SHOULD benefit us this year is we have a lot of experience. Ben and Donte are four year players for us. Clayton and Marques will be in the fourth years of college, Carson Shanks is a fifth year senior. There should be a lot of on floor maturity next season. The only other roster i could think of with similar experience is MSU.

Valpo just brought in 4 new kids 3 of which are 6"8 or better and Missouri State a kid 7"2. Will be interesting to see the rest of the leagues final rosters/.
