Whoa! I mentioned him in a few posts, but it looks like his recruitment went by quick. We've landed 6'8 Franklin Agunanne out of La Lumiere. He's got a fully developed body for a big already; needs to work on his touch around the glass, but he just transferred to one of, if not the best basketball program in the country. Had other offers/interest from Tulsa, TCU and DePaul. Listed as a 3 star big on scout... Evan Daniels had him as a four star in June. Welcome Franklin!!

Huge get. Seems like a big man (a big need in this conference) with a ton of upside (also a need) and comes out of an unbelievable high school program too (a program that DePewl is trying to mine a pipeline from to boot). It makes me super excited to think of him, Krutwig, and Newton developing into a three headed monster in the post for us in a few years.

This year's recruiting class is a big one. Porter has his extension and plenty of fishing lines in the water. It's imperative that he reels in a few more, but this is a great start. Welcome to Loyola Franklin!!!!

Looks like this guy is a sleeper. He's listed as a two-star prospect, but you've got some people calling him a four star player, and his other offer was Tulsa. He's going to be part of quite a good frontcourt with Krutwig, Negron, and Aher Uguak.

Three spots left in this recruiting class, and we definitely need a point guard.

I was thinking the other day how recruiting will start to pick up for us. Hopefully Porter and staff can use this momentum with Brandon Wade making his visit today. Either way, I'm happy to have Frank on board. Not to get ahead, but when was the last time we had a frontcourt with this much talent? We're looking at 3 guys who were 3* or better.

Side note: Is it just me or is it kinda painful to see someone else wear #35? I think that'll always be Milton's number to me.

Completely agree. Maybe even a point guard and a combo guard. Casteneda would've been nice. The problem is they're in a better conference and (if Irma's the worst storm they've had in decades) better weather too. The violence aspect is interesting though.

As much as I appreciate Milt's time, we have quite a few jerseys already retired. Heaven forbid we go overboard like the Yankees.

It's going to be tough on B when we play Drake next year and Frank Agunanne and Ore Arogundade are on the court at the same time.

Man, pretty excited about this, lots of love from some national writers. He apparently had an offer from Nebraska! Seems like verbal commits just didn't update his player page often for whatever reason. 247 and Scout both list him as a 3 star.

Outstanding! If these kids stay healthy it could be an amazing frontcourt the next few years. Seems a few websites had him pegged for DePaul. I wonder if the decommitment of his 5 star high school teammate played any role in his decision.

Verbal Commits updated Agunanne's profile. 4 star ESPN, 3 star Rivals.

Doesn't mean much, but works for our Verbal Commits composite score/bragging rights.
