The Brooklyn Nets played their first pre-season game last night at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks, winning 115-107. Doyle didn't get into the game. It was funny that on the Knicks sideline was Ron Baker (also a DNP), and Doug McDermott-- two former MVC players. Is that all the former MVC players in the NBA right now? Cleanthony Early is playing in Greece. Former Chicago Bull Joakim Noah was a DNP for the Knicks as well.

The Nets play their first home preseason game against the Miami Heat on Thursday night Oct. 5 (NBATV), and they have a home game with the Knicks on Sunday Oct. 8.

Jeremy Morgan is playing for the Grizzlies, 2 points, 1 rebound in six minutes. I'm not sure if anyone else is playing... I remember seeing Jake Odum and Wes Washpun were on Summer League rosters but I don't know if they stuck.

What about Van Vleet? Odum is playing overseas. So is former Rambler Matt O'Leary.

VanVleet is playing for Toronto. And the only other Valley guys I can think of are Kyle Korver on Cleveland and Anthony Tolliver on Detroit. Both went to Creighton.

The box score for the Nets last game lists Milton as “DNP - Injured.” Hope it’s nothing serious.
