This year's schedule isn't too great for road trips, as both games in Normal and Peoria are on Wednesday nights. However, the game at Valpo on Sunday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. is a great opportunity to start/renew a rivalry with the Crusaders. The Indiana State game on Feb. 10 would be great for downstate Illinois and Indianapolis alums-- it's on a Saturday at 1 p.m., and I'm going to try and finally make it to Terre Haute this year, especially if it starts to factor into a race for a conference title. The last non-con game at Milwaukee on Saturday, Dec. 16 is going to be a MUST WIN game, and might be a lot of fun (although I'm a little shocked that we agreed to play there.... a huge risk vis-a-vis the RPI). We really need to show up big and help the team focus on a crucial game. But there are also games in Kansas City, Savannah, Gainesville, Boise, and around the MVC. I hope that Ramblers fans can use the message board to help coordinate meet-ups and gatherings at all the road games. I've always had a great time following the Ramblers on the road, meeting new people. |

I like the sounds of a road trip to Milwaukee in the middle of December. Nothing makes the holidays better than a nice road win and loosing the kids Xmas money at Potawatomi. Big Joe...you game? |

I would like to do the game in Milwaukee. We've had some great overnight stays in Milwaukee with a bunch of Rambler fans, some of them epic. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

For the Valpo game I am looking to take the PACK, the new student group, to valpo. With it being now under an hour and a half to Valpo we could easily make this a way for students to get that feeling of traveling with the team. I went with soccer last year to Notre Dame and it was great to see students chanting on foreign soil. |
