The Missouri Valley released their pre-season All-Conference team along with the coaches/media poll.

We got one 1st place vote and finished 3rd behind Missouri St and UNI. We were closer to 1st place than 4th place for what it's worth. Aundre Jackson and Donte Ingram were both selected as 1st team. No surprise, Alize Johnson was pre-season Player of the Year.

I missed the main interview with Moser, Richardson, and Ingram on ESPN3, but will watch the replay and see if anything interesting comes from that or any other interview they have at Media Days today.

I like it. I think I'd almost rather us be picked as a close third than second or first.... really. There's something to prove, there's a chance to stay a little bit off the radar for a while, and two of our three major seniors were honored.
