Figured we could have a thread about future opponents.

Remember how I AM blew out Iowa State? Well last night they post 69-55 to D2 Concordia St Paul. And it looked like Concordia dominated the game.

Iowa State plays Boise St. tomorrow. Boise looks pretty darn good so far.

Indiana State and Ohio went to four overtimes. Indiana State ball with five seconds left and trailing 96-94, Brenton Scott takes a three to try for the win, and misses. Tough, tough loss, but ISUb looks like they'll be maybe tougher than thought in conference.

Did anybody notice that two days after they played us, Samford went to Valpo and those two teams ended with the same score as in our game, 88-67? I think Valpo is going to be a top four team in the league, and if things break right for them, top two.

Bit of shade from Deadspin, but the Florida win over Mizzou should be good for us

You know what has kinda become a big win? Opening night against Wright State.

After losing their first three games of the year to peer-level teams, the Raiders have gone on to win 10 of their last 12 games against D1 competition, including their last five straight. They're 4-0 in the HL, with the league's best RPI at 99. From an RPI standpoint, they're now our second best win after Florida.

Nice! It wasn't long ago I was checking on nonconference opponents, and they had less than 10 D1 wins combined!

We should be comfortably in the top 100 RPI after this one. Long way home though.

We’re in the top 100, but not too comfortably. WarrenNolan has us at 95. That home loss to Indiana State and the Milwaukee loss are going to be drags the rest of the year.
