I think that's the best way to beat them, slowing down the pace. Throwing in some presses and traps, unexpectedly.

The other thing that Florida State did was rebound like mad. I don't know if we're built to do that, because of Chiozzo's speed and the fact they play four guards, two of them pretty long.

I definitely think we can hang with them, especially if they're overlooking us (unlikely now with their loss) or if they're cold from the three point line that they rely heavily on.

I'd be a tiny bit disappointed if we lose badly because they're a potential Final Four team or lose in a close game because that means we might have been able to sneak by.

I'd be PISSED if we don't compete though. This is a game where you can go out, let it all fly, and earn some serious respect from a top 10 team in the country and the college basketball world at large. The UIC, UNC Wilmington, and Kent St. games get us Ramblermaniacs energized, but this is a game that can turn a lot of heads of the casual fans we've all been looking to recruit to our ranks. Norfolk State and Milwaukee won't bring that opportunity so I hope the team realizes that and we come out tonight on fire. We don't get a lot of these prime time opportunities on our schedules so don't let this game go for naught.

Go Ramblers!

Bit of an aside but in terms of exposure our regular season finale at home against ISU will be broadcast on ESPN 2 or CBS Sports Network. ESPN 2 would be some GREAT exposure.

One thing about these types of games in recent years is you kind of know right away if we are going to play well or fall down.

Continuing my scient streak (an impressive TWO), latest Vegas odds have the Ramblers a 17 point dog, just as I predicted earlier in this thread.

Also a good sign that Satterwhite is getting minutes early
