With Custer 11-1. Without 2-3. It would be nice if he returns next year, with our point recruit to back him up & learn. It is nice having 2 on a team. Is Shanks injured or still on the team? It is nice to have a 2nd big center for practice or as a back up against good teams with big players. |

Is there a legitimate threat of Custer leaving? I wouldn't think so given the increasing success of the program. That said, maybe there is less incentive to stay when his boy Richardson leaves. |

He could continue at Loyola as a senior in eligibility while doing graduate school, he could go to another program as a graduate transfer, or he could consider a pro offer, most likely in Europe. Isaiah Bujdoso is coming in next year from Sunrise, but he'll be a freshman adjusting to D1. Getting a one year grad transfer to help at PG is problematic, but not impossible-- the PG at Boise State is a grad transfer from Valpo, and he's working out well for them, but it's unusual. |

I don't know his thought process, but I do know that the market for him will be quite robust and include some big Power 5 schools. It'd be nice to have him back, but I'd still at least be recruiting another PG as our current plan B is a freshman. What's to say Custer comes back and goes down early in conference play next year? Satterwhite is a great 2 guard but struggles at the point. Skokna never really got a chance at the point with Custer out, so that tells you what the coaching staff plans for Bruno. |

This is pure conjecture, but my concern with Clayton is that he is a smart kid (multiple time student athlete award winner) and has a good head on his shoulders. I would think it would make sense that he would give programs with top tier graduate academic programs a look as a means to better his future. Hypothetically if a Stanford or Notre Dame came calling, he should listen to what they're offering. With that being said Loyola also has many excellent graduate degree options so he could just as easily stay on with us and get a similar education boost for his future. Clayton has been great for the program and I will root for him whatever he chooses to do. |

Appeared that Satterwhite got quite a few minutes at the point last night...how do you guys think he looked? Is that a sign of what the coaches are thinking for next year? |

I thought he did a nice job. He handled the ball pretty well. Scored on nice put back layup, and a baseline drive where the other Cam sealed off his man beautifully. Only charged with one turnover, and it was a bogus offensive foul. I thought Porter was going to get T'd up on it. |

I think he looked better. He was definitely running the offense more to Porter's liking. There were a couple times I saw him pass up a 3 to give a different player a better shot. I'm hoping that Satterwhite is learning from his mistakes. If we can consistently get quality minutes from him at PG, it'll help Custer stay fresh late in games and in March. |

I thought Cameron was improved last night but imho he is not a point guard....it is just not natural to him..He really has to think about it...his instincts are to gooo...Would be great if Ben R was going to graduate school plus do we not have a recruit coming in from Claytons home area? maybe both or one of those would keep him around.....best case scenario is that he has bonded with the guys coming back and wants to lead them...but man he makes a difference |
