Ask and you shall receive. ISUred now 3 games back.

SIU won, however. They are 2 games back.

Since I didn't see it posted, our magic number is 3.

Or as swella would say: French Hens.

Next up for us is Valpo. We will be a double digit favorite. SIU hosts the resurgent Missouri State Bears.

Theoretically, doesn’t a loyola win combined with an SIU loss win us the regular season now? Don’t we own all tiebreakers?

Theoretically, yes, but not guaranteed. The tiebreaker would go to the team with the better RPI. If we were to lose our last 3, and SIU won their last 3, it could be close in RPI.

Just being in the top 2 is also important, and one more win would essentially clinch that. If one of the top 2 seeds, your Friday game is against a team who had to play on Thursday.

Looking at everything, I’d love to see us as the 1 seed and SIU as the 2 seed (and not just because I have degrees from both schools). If SIU were to make it to Sunday, their lack of depth could be a real issue playing for a third consecutive day. And depth is a big strength of ours.

And the number 1 seed plays at noon, meaning playing a team on like 14 hours' rest.

Also let's not forget that winning the regular season league title is, in the words of our former vice president, a big effing deal. I'm going to celebrate my ass off when e clinch it.

We must take down Valpo--first things first !! When we do, it could all be academic or close to it--A win at Evansville would do the trick definitely

This ream of ours has besides the best starting five but also the top bench
