the 6 players is why I'm not worried about SIU at the Arch. How could they possibly hang with a healthy Rambler team during their 3rd game in 3 days? This question is probably in the wrong thread... but besides LU, who are the other "deep" teams? I just assume that the deeper teams tend to outperform the rest of the field in years past?

I would probably say that Missouri State is the deepest team (albeit poorly coached and doesn't make use of its depth), as well as Bradley is pretty deep. Similar conversation with my friends at the game the other day, at the very end when we "emptied our bench", it was still a pretty good lineup at the end: Satterwhite, Bruno, Avery, Negron and..... I think Jackson?

If UNI's seniors are playing well (which is a big if), they have some decent pieces off the bench, Illinois State may have some if their freshmen progress with Evan's injured, I think Bruninga's really turning the corner for them. Clarence was supposed to be the next great ISU player, but he's been hurt and has looked pretty rough. Bradley also does a pretty good job spreading minutes, as does MSU and Valpo. Drake has Woodward and not much else. SIU, Evansville and Indiana State heavily rely on their starters for egregious minutes. Va

Note of interest: With the exception of the Valpo game at Il SU, in every MVC game Yarbrough has been the top Il SU scorer, they won. When he wasn't the top scorer, they always lost.

And we are now 2 games clear in 1st place thanks to the jailbirds' victory over the salukis. Neither team looked very good and I think we sweep the season series with both.

TeamRankings.com has us at 94.8% for conference champs (NIT, at minimum), 19.5% to win out the regular season (25 regular season wins), and 38.7% to win the tournament (NCAA autobid).
