Just bought the 2013-2014 Sporting News College Basketball magazine. I flipped quickly to page 107 to see that they have predicted Loyola to finish last in the MVC. Any thoughts? |

I will make the bold prediction that...No chance that happens. There is a chance we can finish 9th...there's a chance we can finish 4th. But there is as much chance that we will finish 1st as we will finish last. |

It doesn't surprise me as I doubt they put a lot of research into this. As I've said before, from looking at what you did and what you had last year, I think you guys finish 6th. I'll say that 5th and 7th may be just as likely. 4th will take a fantastic year considering the youth and adjusting to the MVC style. 8th would be a bit of a surprise but not out of question as you are still fairly young and are in a new conference. I really don't see 9th or 10th being much of an option. Drake and SIU should really be that bad. And lets not forget that ISU has essentially a completely new roster from last year. I could see Drake finishing ahead of them actually. |
