Well we must do our thing tomorrow--The Trees were NOT a team --they were individuals each wanting to be the star !! Poor coaching indeed !!

As an aside take IZZO --He snd his TEAM came from TWENTY SEVEN down to poke the MILD KITTIES in the eye !!

Valpo got its fifth conference win Saturday night, topping our first-year win total of four. They have been playing better their last few games... especially 6'11" freshman Jaume Sorolla, who looks quicker and more confident than earlier in the season. He's averaged 10 points in the last two games after averaging only 4.6 before the last two. Valpo might end up in the 8/9 slot (our side of the bracket) if they win another game.

Did anyone see how Drake won today? Pretty amazing.

double whammy for UIC as they lose at home to northern Kentucky, which I think ends their hopes for a horizon league title, and star player Dikembe Dixon announces he will transfer.

He announced this with one more game left to play in the regular season?

Yep. Unprecedented, I think.

After starting the season 13-3 and 3-0 in conference, Missouri State ends 17-14 and 7-11. If Indiana State beats Bradley this afternoon (ISUb leads by 3 at halftime), the preseason conference favorite is a play-in team.

Valpo beats Drake, so if Indiana State beats Bradely, Illinois State is a 3 seed.

Loyola's RPI rose to 29 briefly after the finish of today's game, but Miami's late basket to win at home against Boston College and Crieghton's OT upset of Villanova droped us back down to 32.

Florida (who has dropped all the way into the 50s in RPI) knocks off Auburn (#7 RPI).

Florida has two games left against tourney teams, @Bama and vs Kentucky. Finish strong, Gators!
