There's a chance that the Bonnies win could be good for us. Since the Valley is better than the A10 in most if not all metrics, you can argue that the champion from a better conference deserves a spot if a worse conference can get an at large.

Unfortunately i don’t think the committee’s going to do it that way. At least they say they don’t. “Teams get bids, not conferences” is the line always used. An interesting test case for that this year will be Nebraska. If they evaluate them the way we’re being looked at, we’re just as much of a bubble team as they are. If they just look at them as “Generic Big Ten team with 11+ conference wins” then they’re in.

Speaking of the Big Ten, our neighbors from Evanston are on the verge of blowing a 27 point lead against Michigan State...
